Our Mission Statement

New Roots Haiti is dedicated to empowering parents to care for their families through education, employment, and nutrition assistance.

How much of my donation supports the work in Haiti?

100% of of your donation will support our work in Haiti. When you donate to New Roots Haiti, you are standing up for family preservation by empowering parents to meet the needs of their families.

Where does your Funding come from?

Currently our funding comes from individuals and churches across the United States and Canada. As we continue to grow and develop, we hope to be able to subsidize a portion of our expenses with the sales from our chicken farm.

Can I donate goods or specific items to New Root?

We attempt to purchase as much of our supplies as possible in Haiti as this is a great way to support the local economy and ensure lasting change. However, there are certain things that we just cannot purchase here. If you have a certain item you would like to donate or would like to know our current needs list, please feel free to contact Nick Stolberg (Nick@NewRootsHaiti.org).

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes, all donations made to New Roots are tax deductible. New Roots Haiti is a registered Non Profit in the State of Washington and has been granted 501(c)3 status by the IRS. At the end of the year New Roots will send you a receipt for your donation.

Where are you located?

We are located in a small Village in Northern Haiti called Chiron, which is about 45 minutes outside of Cap Haitien.
