Mental Health
Strengthening Minds, Strengthening Families
At New Roots, we recognize that mental health is just as important as physical health. Many in our community face daily stress, trauma, and challenges that can impact their well-being and relationships. That’s why we are committed to providing mental health support through educational programs that promote emotional resilience, personal growth, and stronger family bonds.

Mental Health Classes
Emotional health is key to long-term well-being—especially for teens.

Each of our students goes through two year-long courses designed to support their growth from the inside out. The first helps them learn about themselves—what their emotions are, how to recognize them, how to manage stress and anger, and how to build inner resilience. The second focuses on interpersonal relationships, guiding students to build trust, take responsibility for their actions, and learn how to ask for and offer forgiveness. During this second year, students also learn what it means to treat their significant others with Christ-like love, respect, and integrity.

In a safe, supportive environment, teens are free to share what’s going on in their lives while learning practical coping strategies and gaining confidence. These classes not only support individual healing but also help break the stigma around mental health in their communities.
Parenting Classes
Raising children comes with many challenges, and having the right tools can make all the difference. Our parenting classes empower mothers and fathers with positive parenting techniques, conflict resolution skills, and strategies for building strong, loving relationships with their children. By educating parents, we are not only supporting individual families but also shaping a healthier, more stable community where children can grow up in nurturing environments.

Through these programs, we are fostering emotional well-being, strengthening families, and helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with confidence and hope.
